Applications are invited for a post of Officer “C” (General Administration) to be filled on direct recruitment/deputation. The post carries a pay scale of Rs.10,000-325-15,200/ -(TME at the minimum Rs.25,340/-p.m.) (likely to be revised as per recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission). Qualification & Experience: Essential: (i) At least a second class Graduate from a recognized University/Institution. (ii) A degree/diploma in personnel/human resources/ financial/ materials management/law from a recognized University/Institution; (iii) 12 years experience in Central Govt./Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking in a supervisory capacity of which at least (a) 5 years in the next lower scale of Rs.8000-13500/- or (b) 8 years in the combined scale of Rs.6500-10500/- and above. Desirable: Master’s degree from a recognized university/MBA or equivalent; knowledge of computer aided management and conversant with Govt. of India Rules and office automation/e-governance policy of Govt. of India to take proactive steps for implementation. Age limit: Below 45 years, relaxable to SC/ST/PH candidates as per Govt. of India rules. Age and qualifications relaxable in exceptionally deserving cases at the discretion of competent authority. Candidates holding analogous posts in terms of the pay scale and status or the candidates who have the desired qualification and experience may be considered on deputation basis for a period of 3 years, extendable up to 5 years. Job Requirements: The incumbent is expected to help and advise the Director in administrative matters. He will be the key person in administration to sue or be sued for and on behalf of the Institute. The Officer should play supportive role in various administrative and research activities by providing quick decisions.
