Applications are invited from Indian nationals for
the following temporary posts :-
(1) Junior
Scientific Assistant - 2 posts (1 each for Biometry Group & Chemistry
Group). The post for Chemistry Group is
reserved for ST candidate. Pay-scale Rs.4500-125-7000 (TIME Rs.10375/-). Qualifications: for
Biometry : Essential: (a)1st Class B.Sc. with Food
Science & Nutrition/Biochemistry & (b) 5 yrs. Experience of working on
research projects. Desirable: M.Sc. in Food Science & Nutrition with 2 years working experience on blood
estimations using auto analyser. For Chemistry: Qualifications:
Essential:
Essential : 1st Class B.Sc. Chemistry with
5 years experience. Desirable:
Research experience in `Natural Product Chemistry’ or `Synthetic Organic

(2) JUNIOR LABORATORY
ASSISTANT- 2 posts (1 each for Biometry Group & Chemistry Group, out of
which one is reserved for OBC Non-Creamy Layer) Pay-scale
Rs.3050-75-3950-80-4590. (TME Rs.7058/-): Qualifications: for Biometry: Essential: (a) 1st
class B.Sc. in Food & Nutrition/ Health Sciences/ Biostatistics (b) 5 years
experience in nutrition related data collection and data analysis.. Desirable:
M.Sc. degree as above & research experience of
working on out field nutrition research project. Knowledge of computer and
handling statistical software, 2 years working experience on research project
related to Nutrition and Health. For
Chemistry: Essential: (a) 1st class B.Sc. with Chemistry &
(b) 5 years working experience. Desirable: Knowledge of computer handling and

(3) Lower Division Clerk- 1 post. Pay-scale pf Rs.3050-4590 + admissible allowances
(TME Rs.7058/- approx). Qualifications : HSC with
English typing @ 40 w.p.m. & Computer application. Desirable: Graduate with 1
year experience, knowledge of Hindi typing.
Age Limit :
JLA-30 yrs, JSA-35 yrs & LDC-28 yrs,
relaxable by 3/5 years for OBC/SC & ST
respectively as per rule. DP, HRA, DA,
TA. etc. are applicable as per Central Govt. Rules.
