Applications are invited for
following temporary positions being filled in through walk-in-interview, as under:-
[A] Research Associate (1) under the RGSTC sponsored Project,
`Digitized Inventory of Medicinal Plant Resources of Maharashtra’
being operated in the Botany Group (period up to January 2012) being filled in
through walk-in-interview on 29th
June 2009 at 10.30 a.m.. Qualifications:
Essential: Ph.D. in Botany with Angiosperm special/ Ecology special. Desirable : Experience of handling database. Monthly
consolidated emoluments :Rs.16000/- + HRA, Age limit: 35 years. [Code:

[B] Research Associate (1) under the ARI Project, `Ichnofauna and paleoevnvironment of Jaisalmer formation (Bathonin Callovian), Rajsthan’ being operated in the Geology Group (period up to March 2011) being filled in through walk-in-interview on 24th June 2009 at 10.30 a.m.. Qualifications: Essential: 1st class M.Sc. & Ph.D. in Geology with publications in peer reviewed journals. Desirable: Research publications in scientific journals. Monthly Stipend: Rs.16000/- + HRA. Age limit: 35 yrs.[Code: RA/GEO-17]
In case of non-availability of qualified Research Associate, candidates having M.Sc. Geology with at least 55% marks and below the age of 28 years, may be considered for Research Studentship on monthly stipend Rs.11000/- (fixed).
[C] Junior Research Fellow/Research Student under the ARI Project `Role of cholesterol and phospholipids in normal embryonic development and abnormal pattern formation’ (up to 01.03.2010) in Zoology Group of Animal Sciences Division, being filled in through walk-in-interview on 2nd July 2009 at 10.30 a.m.. Qualifications: Essential: (i) 1st class M.Sc. Zoology/Biochemistry `A’ grade with Developmental Biology/ Molecular Biology as one of the subjects & (ii) Clearance of CSIR-UGC/NET/GATE above 90 percentile. Monthly Stipend Rs.12000/- + HRA. In case of nonavailability of qualified JRF, candidates
having M.Sc. as above with at least 55% marks may be
considered for Research Studentship on monthly stipend Rs.11000/- (fixed).

along with attested copies of qualifications, certificates, Passport

for walk-in-interview as per schedule. No TA/DA will be applicable for attending the
interview and no separate call letters will be issued.
