March 1, 2006 - (Mrs.) Shobha Rao, Head, Biometry & Nutrition Group and
Animal Science Division, ARI, received the "National Award for Women's
Development through the Application of Science & Technology" for the year
2005. The award was given at the hands of Shri Kapil Sibal, Honorable Minister
for Science & Technology and Ocean Development, on March 1st 2006 in Raman
Auditorium, Department of Science & Technology. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Feb 24-28, 2006 National Science Day Celebrations
Oct 1, 2005 - The inaugural function of "MACS-ARI Diamond Jubilee
Year" took place. Dr.V.L.Chopra, Member, Planning Commission, was the Chief
Guest of the function. Dr.Kalyan Banerjee presided over the function.
Dr.V.S.Rao, Director, depicted the history of MACS-ARI. The Director appealed
all students, staff members, and all those who were associated with the
Institute during the period 1946 to 2005 to send information about them at
diamondjubilee@aripune.org
